New International Family arrives
We have just welcomed another new family here from Burma/Myanmar. They are in need of all houshold items. Contact Arnie or Mary Lou Harrell if you have anything you can donate to help.

HOME ENERGY, WATER, SAFETY & REPAIR SUMMIT
The Band‐Aids aren’t working!
Many agencies get them—the calls from the public for assistance with ulity
bills, for a wheelchair ramp, for repairs to a home. Lead‐based paint detecon;
safety audits for the elderly; smoke & CO2 detector installaon; and baery
changes are other services needed. This summit is not only about addressing
those needs, it is also about educang these homeowners and renters to reduce
the need for this assistance and to allow them to increase their disposable
income. Your agency or organizaon is being invited to this summit because
you have a stake in this issue. Please send a representave to this summit.

Current Needs
Coastal Women's Shelter needs assistance in helping a family begin again. Here are items needed for moving into a new home (with nothing but two young men and mom):
Couch; TV; 2 Twin beds (mattresses & boxsprings); 1 Queen mattress and boxsprings; 3 Dressers; Dining Room table & chairs; dishes; pots and pans; silverware; cooking utensils; toaster; microwave; dish drainer; cutting board; iron, mop/broom; mop bucket; Shower curtain; rugs/mats; towels and washcloths; bed linens.
You may contact Lisa Shriver at Coastal Women's Shelter (252)638-5995 to contribute any one or more of these items.
